How to Set Rotating Lock Screen Wallpapers on Samsung Galaxy Devices
Jul 20, 2025 am 12:59 AMAlthough you may feel that Samsung's TouchWiz UI is too complicated or heavy, there is one thing you must not complain about, that is, it is not rich enough. In fact, it's been nearly 8 months since I first pulled out the Galaxy S6 Edge from the box, but I'm still constantly discovering new features until now.

Take lock screen wallpaper as an example. Do you know? Grouping features on Galaxy devices currently — including the Galaxy S6 (and Edge), as well as the new Note 5 and Edge Plus — allow you to select a set of pictures and rotate them on the lock screen in a slide-like format? If you already know this feature, that's great. But if you only discovered it now like me, I will teach you how to use this function below.
Open wallpaper settings
To enable this feature, just go to the Settings menu of the main interface of the phone and select the "Wallpaper" option. Next, click the drop-down menu at the top of the screen, select "Lock Screen", and then click "Select from Album" in the lower left corner.
Select your photo
Next, you will see a standard photo selection interface. But looking closely you will see that there is a small check box in the upper left corner of each thumbnail. Check each picture you want to appear in the lock screen wallpaper slide, and click the "Done" button in the upper right corner after confirming.
Set wallpaper
At this point, you can adjust the size of your wallpaper by sliding and zooming. Once done, be sure to click the "Set as wallpaper" button at the bottom of the screen to make the changes take effect.
From now on, your phone will display different lock screen wallpapers every hour of the day - isn't it cool?
