Onyx BOOX releases new 7-inch e-readers: BOOX Go 7 and BOOX Go Color 7 Gen II. The two products are priced at $250 and $280, respectively, and are both the first 7-inch BOOX e-reader to support stylus input.
The BOOX Go 7 is a powerful Android e-reader equipped with a 300ppi Carta 1300 electronic ink screen, Android 13 operating system, built-in speakers (and support Bluetooth), and an asymmetric design with page turning buttons. It is essentially a black and white version of the first generation Go Color 7, with added stylus support and operating system upgrades.

The iPad is more expensive, but it also has some significant advantages.
, the Go Color 7 Gen II is just a color version of the Go 7. BOOX adds stylus support, Android 13 and a redesigned page-turn button, but retains the octa-core processor and Kaleido 3 e-ink screen from last year's Go Color 7 model.
The Go 7 Color Gen II is only $280, which is quite affordable for a color e-reader. However, I should point out that color electronic ink displays relatively dark and has a lower resolution due to the use of color filters.
I don't recommend buying a color e-reader unless you plan to read in direct light, you'll need to use the front light of your tablet all the time. Of course, this may be a matter of personal preference – I hate using the e-reader’s front lights, but I believe others have no problem with it.

Greetings to Mooink V, the first full-color foldable e-reader for consumers.
Both e-readers are compatible with BOOX InkSense . However, the stylus needs to be purchased separately. It's also out of stock at the time of writing, which is a bit ironic, as stylus support is a major feature of the new BOOX e-reader. BOOX has not yet stated whether a third-party stylus is suitable for the Go 7 or Go Color 7 Gen II.
Pre-orders for the BOOX Go 7 are now available, with the official BOOX website priced at $250. At least for now, all Go 7 purchases include a free case. BOOX said it will start pre-ordering the $280 Go 7 Color Gen II "soon." Orders are shipped from U.S. warehouses, which means customers don’t have to worry about courier companies charging import fees (a problem faced by Temu and Shein shoppers due to changes in U.S. trade policy). That said, BOOX, like other e-reader brands, has also recently raised prices due to tariffs.
##### BOOX Go 7
The Onyx BOOX Go 7 e-reader features a 7-inch Carta 1300 e-ink touch screen with a resolution of 300ppi and comes with an adjustable front light. It runs the Android 13 operating system, has dedicated page turn buttons and integrated speakers, and supports stylus input.
