CUKTECH 15 GaN Charger 140W Review: Everything Portable Laptop Power Should Be
Jun 30, 2025 pm 09:09 PMThe CUKTECH 15 GaN Charger 140W is the type of tech accessory everyone should own. Perfect for charging a laptop or a bunch of mobile devices at once, the GaN internals make this a heavier charger than others on the market, but a bit of extra bulk isn’t the worst thing for a power hub.

Not As Light as It Looks
The four-port CUKTECH 15 has a relatively compact design, making it easy to throw in a laptop bag or sleeve. Measuring 3.11 inches tall, 2.56 inches from front to back, and 1.26 inches wide, it’s smaller than your average 140-watt MacBook charger. This bodes well for power strips or wall outlets with minimal real estate to work with. I also liked that the foldable plug has a reversible fit, so you can easily position the charger around open plugs.
One thing that took me by surprise: For its footprint, the CUKTECH 15 is a little on the hefty side. Every time I picked it up, I expected it to weigh about a third as much, but this pup clocks in at 0.75 pounds. For comparison, my M1 MacBook Pro’s charger weighs just shy of 0.43 pounds. This isn’t a dealbreaker by any means, but it’s something I never really got used to.
The power brick has a gray shell with pale blue trimming that matches the blue input housings of its PD ports. The front portion of the charger also features a textured black plastic that makes it easy to grip. This is where the device’s four USB connections are located, too: three USB-C and a single USB-A.
Design-wise, the only other drawback I can think of is the depth of the charger when connected to an outlet. If you’re trying to keep a desk or other workstation furniture flush to the wall, the CUKTECH’s 2.56-inch reach may be a challenge to work with.
In addition to the charger itself, the box should also include a 4.9-foot 240W USB-C cable and a user manual.

Putting GaN Tech to the Test

I’ve tested several GaN chargers over the last few years, and the CUKTECH 15 checks all the essentials. The gallium-nitride design allows the charger to deliver fast and powerful charging and excellent heat dissipation. Even when charging multiple devices at once, my test unit stayed relatively cool. This is also thanks to CUKTECH’s ADC 2.0 system, which actively monitors temperature and power output to ensure your electronics get the charge they need when they need it.
In all of my multi-device tests, I was glad to see the CUKTECH 15 prioritizing my iPhone over devices like an iPad or Kindle. A phone is a lifeline in more ways than one, so it makes sense that a smart charger would tackle topping off a phone battery first. Mind you, the CUKTECH didn’t lag behind in charging up my other gear. Here’s how things shook out in one test scenario:
At 2:09 p.m., I connected an iPhone 12 and a 9th Gen iPad to the CUKTECH’s two PD-rated USB-C ports (the blue ones) and a Kindle to the USB-A port. My iPhone was at 24% battery, the iPad was at 4%, and the Kindle was at 16%.

The Best Laptop Docking Stations of 2025
Improve your laptop’s port selection.
By 2:40, my phone was at 71%, the iPad at 19%, and the Kindle at 27%. At 3:19, I was looking at 94% battery for my iPhone, 45% for the iPad, and 41% for the Kindle.
As for laptop charging, CUKTECH claims you’ll be able to charge an M3 MacBook from zero to 55% in just half an hour. I was able to charge my M1 machine from 70% battery to 90% in about 40 minutes, with nothing else connected to the charger. My MacBook was also running GarageBand and Safari with three YouTube videos, all playing in 4K at 60fps.
I also like how many fail-safe cutoffs the CUKTECH team built into the charger, ranging from temperature, short circuit, and overcurrent defenses to low electrostatic resistance and overvoltage.
Should You Buy the CUKTECH 15 GaN Charger 140W?
If you’ve got $100 burning a hole in your winter coat (isn’t that where everyone keeps their money?), the CUKTECH 15 GaN Charger 140W is a more-than-worthy addition to your everyday workstation or travel bag o’ tech.

If you need to obtain the Windows 11 product key, the answer depends on how you get the system. 1. If the system is pre-installed (OEM authorization), the key is usually embedded in the firmware and cannot be directly accessed and will be automatically activated during reinstallation; 2. You can use BelarcAdvisor, ProduKey and other tools to extract the key from the system, but you must ensure that the source is trustworthy; 3. Following the above steps to check in turn, most dual-screen recognition problems can usually be solved.
