Google has now completely introduced its recommendations feature in Google Search Console. Initially launched as an experimental tool in August, it is now accessible to all users within Google Search Console.
What's new. Google made an announcement today that the recommendations feature has been fully implemented. They stated, “We’re pleased to announce that Recommendations are now available to all users!”
Why might you not see it? Google also mentioned, “Please note that you will only see recommendations if we have specific advice for your site.” Therefore, if you don't see any recommendations, it means Google currently has no suggestions for your website.
What are Search Console recommendations? The recommendations feature in Search Console is designed to offer website optimization suggestions and actionable advice to enhance visibility on Google Search, according to Google.
These recommendations provide tips on improving indexing, crawling, and serving, based on the data Google gathers through Search Console. “While the data has always been available in Search Console, we are now making it easier to access by offering direct recommendations,” Google further explained.
Google updates these recommendations regularly, and they may change or expire over time. If there are no recommendations available, none will be displayed.

Visual representation. Here are some screenshots from profiles that I have access to, showcasing these recommendations:
Why it matters. These recommendations can offer valuable insights into enhancing your website or your clients' websites in terms of indexing, crawling, and serving on Google Search. While some tips might be evident to seasoned SEO professionals, others might not be as useful, and some could be extremely beneficial.
However, it's important not to follow these recommendations blindly. You are the expert on your website, and if Google suggests adding products to a news site, it might not be the most suitable advice.
The above is the detailed content of Google Search Console recommendations now fully live. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!
