Released just yesterday by Chinese studio Leenzee and publisher 505 Games, the soulslike title has quickly gained traction on Steam, drawing a higher peak player count than many genre peers. Despite this strong start, the game currently holds a "Mostly Negative" review rating, primarily due to performance issues tied to its Unreal Engine 5 foundation.

In an official Steam announcement, the team admitted: "We’ve received feedback about problems including subpar optimisation, errors in pre-order reward distribution, and irregularities in regional pricing. These are unacceptable, and we sincerely apologise for the frustration and poor experience some players are encountering."

They added: "While we’re confident the game runs well on the recommended system specs, we’re actively improving performance. An optimisation patch is being prepared and will be released as soon as possible."

As compensation, affected players will receive a complimentary digital soundtrack. Deluxe edition buyers will also get an exclusive in-game costume as a goodwill gesture.
