If you're tired of constantly seeing these unwanted Suggested Posts on Instagram, the good news is you can temporarily hide them — although only for a 30-day period at a time.
Steps to Hide Suggested Posts on Instagram
Scroll through your feed and find any Suggested Post
Tap the (X) icon near the top of the post or the three-dot menu (…) located at the top of the suggested content
Choose the option “Snooze all suggested posts for 30 days”
Reclaim your feed and enjoy seeing updates from accounts you actually follow
Keep in mind that after 30 days, this setting will reset, and you’ll need to repeat the process if you want to keep Suggested Posts hidden. Still, this gives you a month of uninterrupted, relevant content from people you care about.
You’ll still encounter a number of irrelevant sponsored posts and ads (though you can hide those individually as they appear), but at least you won’t have to deal with the stream of absurd, clickbait-style video clips.
You might also want to switch your Instagram feed back to chronological order to avoid the confusing algorithm-driven content shuffle.
