You'll find Steady Flow of Salt on the Feast Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza, or the fourteenth layer of the game, towards the end. In this Challenge Course, you'll have to use chunks of salt to make gaps in the acidic wall so you can climb your way to victory.

However, as usual in these sorts of Challenges, just reaching the finish line is not enough. It keeps some tricks hidden from you, including a secret Banandium Gem you'll have to scout out. Or, more accurately, we'll have to scout out. All you have to do is read this guide to find out where it is.

Where To Find The First Banandium Gem In Steady Flow Of Salt

Typically, the hidden Bananadium Gem is lodged somewhere in the middle of the course, or even right at the end. Steady Flow of Salt is unusual in that it instead has the hidden gem near the start of the course, before you pick up the Bananadium Gem for getting halfway through the action.

On the first vertical wall, stand on the ledge to the right, about two thirds of the way up the wall. Punch your way through the salt wall, and you will find the Bananadium Gem inside. Since the wall is constantly moving, you will need to keep punching repeatedly in order to make a big enough gap to get through.

After that, turn around and punch punch punch your way back out. Now you can complete the rest of the stage, where you'll find the second Bananadium Gem on the top of this very tower, and the third at the very end of the course.

How To Complete Steady Flow Of Salt

The mechanics of Steady Flow of Salt are pretty simple once you get used to them, but the game will expect you to figure it out. In essence, half of the level is made of acid, and half made of salt. You need to throw chunks of salt at the acid to dissolve it, letting you reach the end.

Hitting anywhere on the acid will cause a small circle to appear. However, hitting the sluglike creature that sprouts from the acid will cause the entire block to melt away to nothing, so always aim for that option.

Doing this you'll be able to grab the final two Bananadium Gems that Steady Flow of Salt has to offer, and reach the other side unscathed.
