Meeting Mitchell Linn
The first time you meet Mitchell Linn in Date Everything!, you'll need to come prepared for a brief culinary pop quiz. Mitchell is drinking a white wine with notes of peach when you first find him, and he'll ask you to identify the wine he's drinking out of a multiple-choice selection. Choose Sauvignon Blanc as the answer - Mitchell Linn is displeased if you don't guess correctly.
Once you've identified his wine, you'll then need to choose a snack to pair with it, again from a list of options. Tell him that Sauvignon Blanc goes well with goat cheese, then finish by suggesting the crackers as a side.
Sauvignon Blanc | Guess Mitchell Linn's wine correctly on your first meeting. (It's Sauvigon Blanc in the game, but the correct wine spelling is Sauvignon Blanc) |
Omakase Daisuke | Go to Omakase Daisuke with Mitchell Linn. |
The Yummy Yeti | Go to The Yummy Yeti with Mitchell Linn. |
Two Currents | Go to Two Currents with Mitchell Linn. |

How To Change Your Relationship With Mitchell Linn
Like the other dateables in Date Everything!, Mitchell Linn has three distinct endings. As mentioned, you'll need to have gotten the wine pairing correct, lest you be locked into Mitchell Linn's friendship ending if you're truly trying to Date Everything! in the house.
Love
You need to get the wine and cheese pairing correct in the first meeting to get Mitchell Linn's love ending - even if you do everything perfect from there on out, Mitchell will only want to be friends by the end. Assuming you got this correct the first time you met, you'll then need to be flirty with Mitchell Linn whenever possible.
Mitchell Linn also needs to see that you know your way around food, so be sure to give the correct responses to the restaurateurs you visit together.
The fourth time you see one another, he'll call you "mon cheri," so tell him you like the sound of that when prompted. He'll ask you if you believe there's a connection between food and love, so tell him that they are themselves an act of love after telling Mitchell he can share what's on his mind.
When prompted, whether it's your fourth or fifth visit with Mitchell Linn, tell him you felt it too, referring to that heat, that electricity between you two. Say it doesn't have to be when Mitchell tries to call it a night, then speak with him again to conclude the relationship progression.
During your final meeting with Mitchell Linn in Date Everything!, he'll want to read you all of his reviews before asking you to review him as well. If you'd like to hammer in Mitchell Linn's love ending, choose "I'd like to make a reservation... romantic dinner for two?"
Friend
If you get Mitchell Linn's wine and cheese pairing question wrong during your first meeting, you'll be locked into the friend ending no matter how steamy things end up getting between the two of you in later scenes.
As a food snob, Mitchell needs to see that you also value food, so go with the flow during the restaurant scenes and help Mitchell Linn review restaurants, accompanying him to each of the three spots around the house. Be sure you're getting the questions and prompts right, since Mitchell won't be keen on anyone who doesn't know much about food.
Should you trigger the scene wherein he calls you "mon cheri," oppose him calling you a pet name to squash the love route. On your final meeting with Mitchell Linn, he'll still ask you to review him as a person after reading you his restaurant reviews.
If you'd like to be friends, say you find him palatable, as a friend to earn Mitchell Linn's friend ending in Date Everything!
Hate
Mitchell Linn is surprisingly easy to convince to hate you - you might trigger his hate ending early if you're rude about your restaurant visits or get too many of the prompts wrong. Mitchell won't want to spend time with someone who can't compose themselves and take food as seriously as he does!
If you do make it through Mitchell Linn's story before he hates your attitude, he'll read you his food reviews during your final meeting and ask how you feel about him. To lock in Mitchell Linn's hate ending in Date Everything!, you'll need to say, "I'm afraid your five-star rating is about to suffer."
