First, you were collecting Activision logos, then, you were getting Vicarious Vision logos, and now, in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 4, you will be collecting Iron Galaxy Logos. Alongside the Secret Tapes, the Iron Galaxy Logos are some of the most challenging collectibles you'll encounter in the game.
From where to find them, to how to get to them, we'll take you through every stage of the game and tell you everything you need to know. With our help, you will have gathered every last one of these precious logos in no time at all - letting you get back to the skating part of the game.
Where To Find Every Iron Galaxy Logo In Every Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Stage
As we already stated, collecting the Iron Galaxy Logos are, more often than not, some of the trickier challenges in the game. A number of them will require you to open up secret sections of the level. Other parts will call for getting quite a bit of airtime. I'd recommend completing the stages first, grabbing a bunch of stat points, and then coming around a second time to grab the Iron Galaxy Logos.
Stage |
Tape Location |
---|---|
Foundry |
In order to get this Iron Galaxy Logo, you need to unlock the hidden room in the back. You'll need to first un-jam the five valves. These valves are located all around the perimeter of the stage. Once you've done so, return to the starting position and skate right into the reactor room. Now, just ride up the multi-story ramp that winds around this massive room, and you'll find the Iron Galaxy Logo at the top. |
Canada |
This logo is easy to get if you have unlocked the railroad track grind. To do this, go to the dock, grind past the machine to raise the halfpipe, then take the raised halfpipe to the bridge above the dock. From here, head forward and grind along the railroad rail farthest from you (so the left rail). This will take you directly to the Iron Galaxy Logo. |
Rio |
Look for the light post that is northeast of your starting location; the Iron Galaxy Logo is floating above it. Fill your special meter, line yourself up with the post, and then ride up the ramp below it while holding forward to snag it. |
Suburbia |
Break into the backyard of the haunted house, then, once you are in the backyard section, ride up the ramp next to the one you transferred into the backyard on to get onto a halfpipe above. Now, transfer onto the roof. You should see the Iron Galaxy Logo hovering above the ramp. Just skate up to it and grab it. |
Airport |
The Airport's Iron Galaxy Logo is among the easier to grab. Simply head to the hidden helicopter platform, which you do by hopping onto the baggage conveyor belt on your right. Grind through that tunnel, and you'll be facing a helicopter. The Iron Galaxy Logo is hovering above the blades, so just hop up, and grind those blades to grab it. |
Skater Island |
To get this Iron Galaxy Logo, from the starting point, take your first left to leave the skate park, then grind the nose of the pirate ship and fall into the water. You don't want to jump at the end of the grind, as that will take you to Bikini Bottom. If you do this right, you will be standing on the crow's nest. Now, just grind the left rope and you will run headfirst into the logo. |
Los Angeles |
Once you start the stage, head to your right. Crash through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and jump up over the ramp to reach the area with grates above. Now, grind the rails surrounding this area to open the grates. This will also open up another set of grates located on the roof of the library. So head back to where you started the stage and grind the cable that leads to the roof of the library. |
Tokyo |
Head to the other side of the stage. Once you are at the ramps, work up your special meter. Now, launch off a ramp vertically, and grind the ledge above to your left. When you are above to reach the neon signs, jump, and you will land in a hidden halfpipe. The Iron Galaxy Logo is hovering above you. |
Cruise Ship |
At the beginning of the stage, leap off the left side. This will put you on the bottom deck, near where a repairman is trying to raise a ferry. You need to find his toolbox, which is located on the balcony above. You can skate to the above deck and hop down onto it, or you can wallride up to it. Now, bring the toolbox back to repairman and he will raise the ferry. Grind the rail that runs along the side of the ferry to grab the Iron Galaxy Logo. |
Where To Find Every Iron Galaxy Logo In Every Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 Stage
The Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 stages maintain the same strategy of often placing the Iron Galaxy Logos in hidden areas, or sections of the stage that you will only be able to reach by activating certain stage elements. Generally, I'd say that these are a little harder to reach than the logos you collected in the previous section. It is noteworthy that a few of these seemingly require you to have an enhanced air stat, so make sure to come into this section with a pumped-up character.
Stage |
Tape Location |
---|---|
College |
From the beginning area, head straight until you see the white tower on your left. Enter the tower from the back entrance, and you will drop onto a wire that you can grind down to the roof of a building. Look to your right, and you should see the Iron Galaxy Logo on a wire in the distance. Grind that wire straight to it. |
San Francisco |
Without a doubt, this is the easiest Iron Galaxy Logo in the game. From the starting area, perform a U-turn on your first left. You should be facing a set of stairs. Grind the rail to travel up them and smash through the glass. Congratulations, you just nabbed the Iron Galaxy Logo for this stage in under five seconds. |
Movie Studio |
Start by taking a right into the studio. Now, head straight, hop over the ramp, and transfer into the bowl clad in green screen. From there, transfer to the second floor catwalk. From here, head straight ahead, and you will hit a ramp with the Iron Galaxy Logo floating above it. |
Alcatraz |
From the starting area, take a left through the Parade Grounds tunnel, then enter the washroom; this will take you to the prison itself. Now, skate past it and take a right. You will run into a massive ramp with a loop de loop. Take this ramp, and try to center yourself on it. If you get the right angle, you will hit the Iron Galaxy Logo below. It will likely take several attempts, but it will place you right back at the ramp each time, so don't stress over it. |
Waterpark |
From the opening area, take a left. You will see a piece of graffiti of a yellow ball man. Head up the ramp next it and transfer to the roof above it. Now, grind the wires, which will take you past the Iron Galaxy Logo. When you are a meter away from it, jump up and grab it. |
Kona |
The location of your starting point is randomized, so, look for a halfpipe that has a sign above it that says "The Skatepark Project". Once you are there, ramp up the halfpipe, and grind the wire above to get to the Iron Galaxy Logo. |
Shipyard |
You can find this Iron Galaxy Logo floating high above the water on the other side of the map from where you start. You'll see a shipping container being moved back and forth. When the shipping container is the farthest away from the Iron Galaxy Logo, you will be able to transfer into it from the ramp below. Once you do, just wait until it is under the Iron Galaxy Logo, and skate up the ramp to grab it. |
London |
This Iron Galaxy Logo is sitting in the center of some scaffolding next to the park area with the fountains. You can just launch up the ramp underneath and perform a Spine Transfer to get up to it. |
Zoo |
Take your first left after the starting area, head past the jeep, then wallride up to the halfpipe above the aviary sign. Now, transfer onto the roof from that halfpipe, and then head straight up the quarter pipe to grab the Iron Galaxy Logo. |
Pinball |
You literally start underneath this Iron Galaxy Logo. Just perform a trick or two, get your special up, then launch yourself up the starting ramp to grab this Iron Galaxy Logo. |
