A new faction, the Spook Shack, makes its debut with ZZZ 2.1's banners, and one of its members serves as a support unit for some of the game's strongest characters. Two of those characters are also returning for the first time, and HoYoverse is offering another batch of free 10-pulls to help players get started. While the ZZZ anniversary has passed, many celebratory elements continue.

Below, we've detailed who's appearing in the ZZZ 2.1 banners, along with what to expect from the kits of newcomers Yuzuha and Alice.

ZZZ 2.1 banners Phase 1 – Yuzuha and Miyabi

The first phase of ZZZ 2.1's banners begins when the version update launches on July 16, 2025, or late on July 15 depending on your region. HoYoverse hasn't revealed any A-rank agents for this banner yet, as is typical, but here are the S-rank units featured:

• Ukinami Yuzuha – Physical, Support
• Hoshimi Miyabi – Ice, Anomaly

Yuzuha excels as a support character in Anomaly or Aftershock teams, particularly for Soldier 0 Anby builds under ZZZ 2.1. She throws candy bombs that increase enemies' vulnerability to Anomaly buildup, and her core ability synchronizes with another character’s Anomaly type, speeding up buildup. The damage from her attacks also qualifies as Aftershock, making her ideal for Pulchra, Soldier 0 Anby, and Trigger-based teams.

Miyabi is an Anomaly character capable of applying two forms of ice Anomaly, effectively slicing enemies into ribbons. Despite being introduced several versions ago, she remains among the most potent characters in ZZZ and performs exceptionally well with just one other Anomaly teammate.

ZZZ 2.1 banners Phase 2 – Alice and Yanagi

Three weeks later, on August 6, 2025, the second phase of ZZZ 2.1 banners begins, featuring two more Anomaly characters:

• Alice Thymefield – Physical, Anomaly
• Tsukishiro Yanagai – Electric, Anomaly

Alice Thymefield is a new Physical Anomaly agent who enhances Assault and Disorder damage using her special attacks and Blade Etiquette stacks. Although Disorder benefits any dual-element Anomaly team, Assault boosts only benefit two specific characters alongside Alice. Yanagi is highly effective at applying Shock, though her combo chain takes longer to complete, and she works best with off-field supports like Vivian.

Also arriving during the 2.1 update is a new S-rank Bangboo named Miss Esme, whose skill restores both energy and HP.
