Elden Ring Nightreign features eight unique Nightfarers, each with their own Remembrance quests to explore while undertaking an Expedition. These quests provide insight into how each Nightfarer came to oppose the Nightlords, and also reward you with valuable character-specific Relics and Vessels.

Elden Ring Nightreign Revenant Remembrance quest walkthrough

The Revenant Remembrance quest in Nightreign is composed of three distinct Remembrance events. Before beginning, ensure that you have unlocked Revenant as a playable Nightfarer. Once she’s available, you can start her quest.

Revenant Remembrance event #1

Once Revenant is unlocked in Nightreign, her first Remembrance event becomes accessible immediately if you’ve already defeated at least one Nightlord using any Nightfarer. If not, complete that task first and then check Revenant’s entries in the Journal.

Upon starting the event, open your map and look for yellow-orange exclamation marks – these indicate locations or people to interact with within the Hold.

First, talk to the Duchess near the Roundtable, then proceed to speak with the Guardian and choose the option ‘Speak of your request’.

This will set your first personal objective for Revenant: ‘defeat the Tricephalos or Darkdrift Knight in Limveld’, which can be viewed in the Journal or on the Expedition menu screen.

To complete this, go on an Expedition as Revenant and defeat either Nightlord. Tricephalos is likely the easier choice, but equipping Revenant with Lightning Incantations—effective against the Darkdrift Knight—can give her an edge. After successfully defeating either Nightlord while in Revenant’s Realm of Remembrance, you’ll obtain the Blade of Night Fragment.

Return to the Hold and speak to the Guardian once again to exit the Remembrance. You’ll be rewarded with the Small Makeup Brush Relic for Revenant.

Revenant Remembrance event #2

Revenant’s second Remembrance event becomes available during Chapter 5 of her Journal entries.

Enter the Remembrance and talk to the Duchess at the Roundtable. Be sure to select the option ‘Ask about the Night’s corrosion.’

Then, head to the garden and speak to the Recluse, who will ask you to sit down on the bench beside her. Do so, and you’ll soon find yourself transported to a new location.

Move forward through this area until you reach a room where you’ll face off against Corrosion in a boss fight. This battle involves spectral skeletons that gather around you and explode when close – similar to those found near Flame Chariots in Limveld.

The key to victory is to run around and dodge while letting them explode near you until they’re all destroyed. Don’t forget to summon Frederick or Sebastian for help! After the fight, speak to the doll seated in the chair – who bears a striking resemblance to Revenant – at the far end of the room.

You’ll return to the Roundtable Hold, and upon speaking with the Recluse again, the event concludes. You’ll receive the Revenant’s Chalice Vessel.

Revenant Remembrance event #3

The final Remembrance event unlocks during Chapter 7 of Revenant’s Journal entries. If it hasn’t appeared yet, you may need to defeat additional Nightlords before proceeding.

Once inside the Remembrance, return to the garden and speak with the Recluse. She’ll ask you to sit on the bench once more, and you’ll be teleported to another mysterious location.

Proceed forward until you encounter the Contaminant, a grotesque, corrupted Royal Revenant. While still challenging, this version isn’t as tough as the standard Royal Revenant. Use Revenant’s abilities and summons effectively, and attack with her Cursed Claws cautiously.

After defeating the boss, a disturbing cutscene will play out, after which you awaken back in the Hold. Speak to the Recluse again, and you may then exit the Remembrance.

This marks the completion of Revenant’s Remembrance journey. Upon exiting, you’ll receive Revenant’s Remembrance Outfit and the Old Portrait Relic, and her full story will be revealed in the Journal.
