There’s a whole legacy ahead. She must learn how to coexist with her grandfather so her secrets don’t spill out or destroy everything again. There are still so many unresolved issues when she leaves. That doesn't mean she's gone, in my opinion.” But naturally, the original cast wouldn't return, which opens up another possibility. They could choose to deviate from the books and craft a second season that continues Cadence’s journey and brings back much of the original cast. The other novels could be adapted later, perhaps as separate or concurrent projects.
