Ever since, we’ve been curious about when Season 4 would arrive and whether it would be a long wait. There hasn’t been much information aside from the fact that production is set to begin sometime in 2025, with the first episode scheduled to air in 2026. I was optimistic it might be early 2026, but as we approach the end of June, that seems highly improbable. Now, cast members have started sharing on their social media accounts that filming for the new season has officially begun in Nova Scotia. Simon Webster (who portrays Ethan Matthews) shared a photo of himself on-set in a trailer, and Liz Saunders (who plays Donna) also announced the news on her Instagram. This is naturally positive news and indicates that we’re slowly making our way back to Fromville. The downside is that this confirms we won’t be seeing the new season arrive in January or February as I had hoped. My best guess would be April 2026 at the earliest (Season 1 premiered in April), or possibly June/July (like Season 2). In a worst-case scenario, it could even stretch into October/November (similar to Season 3), though I don’t believe it will be delayed that far now that filming has started. Of course, no official release date has been announced yet, so all of this is purely speculative. Creator John Griffin has stated regarding Season 4: “With the culmination of Season 3, we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning. Season 4 marks the start of a new journey. The question remains: will it lead our characters home, or deeper into this relentless nightmare?” Deeper into the nightmare, without a doubt. FROM is MGM ’s most successful show, and I’m confident it will continue to be renewed until the full story is told and (most of) our questions are answered (for the most part). It would be great if Amazon made it available on Prime Video or licensed it to Netflix—it has the potential to become a massive hit. FROM follows the story of a strange town simply known as The Town (or Fromville), where people from various places find themselves trapped, unable to leave, and pursued by sinister forces. Terrifying creatures stalk the townspeople at night, while something even darker lies beneath. The residents fight to survive while trying to uncover the mystery behind the Town and discover how they can escape. Much like the Hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. Season 3, like its predecessors, was somewhat inconsistent—some episodes in the middle felt slow—but overall, I found it enjoyable, especially as the second half of the season picked up intensity and led to some intriguing fan theories. We’ve waited a long time for Season 4, and it looks like we’ll just need to be patient for a bit longer than anticipated. Que sera sera. What’s your take on FROM?
