Curious about what “x” could represent? Stuck on a clue related to a country’s economic health? Don’t stress — I’ve got your back with extra hints and the answers for today's NYT Mini crossword.
The NYT Mini is a compact version of the newspaper's classic and long-standing crossword puzzle. Usually, each day’s challenge features between three and five clues across and down on a five-by-five grid, though puzzles can be slightly larger in size occasionally, especially on Saturdays.
While the full NYT crossword requires a subscription, the NYT Mini is free to play on the New York Times website or via the NYT Games app. However, if you want to go back and play previous puzzles, you’ll need an NYT Games subscription.
Here are additional hints and the official NYT Mini Crossword clues and answers for Monday, June 23:

I completed today's NYT Mini in 0:50.
It was a decent time, but I definitely could have been quicker. I hesitated on GDP for around ten seconds and initially thought TIMES was “cross.” SEES wasn’t obvious to me at first either. Once GAMES was filled in, TIMES should have clicked, but it didn’t. Oh well. At least all the Down clues were straightforward enough.
See you tomorrow for more NYT Mini excitement!
