Final Strike: Go Battle Week Timed Research is available until Tuesday 27th May at 8pm (local time) in Pokémon Go. We recommend completing it as soon as possible, because doing so will unlock an additional bonus for this event - one extra Raid Pass per day.

The Final Strike: Go Battle Week event is here! It includes the release of Urshifu and the final Might and Mastery quest steps. You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.

For now, it's important to note that Single Strike Style Urshifu is a Fighting and Water-type. Meanwhile, Rapid Strike Style Urshifu is a Fighting and Dark-type.
Might and Mastery Special Research update
The Might and Mastery Special Research quest has received its final update to tie in with the release of Urshifu. Remember - you have until 10am (local time) on Tuesday 3rd June to claim this Special Research quest.

The following Pokémon will gain featured attacks during Final Strike: Go Battle Week if they're obtained through evolution
- Primeape - Rage Fist (Fighting-type Charged Attack) evolved from Mankey
- Dewgong - Ice Shard (Ice-type Fast Attack) evolved from Seel
- Hydreigon - Brutal Swing (Dark-type Charged Attack) evolved from Zweilous
- Greninja - Hydro Cannon (Water-type Charged Attack) evolved from Frogadier
Alongside the above, any Lapras caught via raids or field research will know Ice Beam, an Ice-type Charged Attack.
