However, these nerfs, especially those affecting aspects and fragments, did not sit well with players and were described as "ruining" parts of the subclass. “Although we’re still planning a comprehensive adjustment for Prismatic at a later date, including buffs along with other modifications, we’ll adjust our strategy for The Edge of Fate based on your input.”

“Aspects initially intended to drop to 1 fragment slot will stay at 2. We believe this strikes a good balance by toning down some of the stronger Aspects without overdoing it. Naturally, we’ll internally test this change before The Edge of Fate launches to confirm it’s the correct move.”

Below are the adjustments made to the previous changes:

Titan

• Consecration 3 -> 2 (restored from 1)
• Knockout remains at 2 (restored from 1)

Hunter

• Stylish Executioner remains at 2 (restored from 1)
• Ascension 3 -> 2
• Winter’s Shroud 3 -> 2

Warlock

• Feed the Void remains at 2 (restored from 1)
• Hellion 3 -> 2
• Bleak Watcher 3 -> 2

While there are still some nerfs, none are going down to 1, which seemed quite drastic. Bungie explains that even with these changes, when Prismatic is paired with new stats, new gear-tiering, and armor 3.0, it will remain a formidable option for both ad-clearing and boss DPS, despite the reduction in fragment slots. Time will tell.

We haven’t received a complete list of subclass tweaks for the upcoming Destiny 2: Edge of Fate expansion yet, which is likely forthcoming since most attention has been on the new systems so far. Hopefully, more details will emerge soon.
