• Constantly stomping around the arena, causing collateral damage. Occasionally, it may collapse onto the ground.
• Dropping below 50 percent health and recovering from its stun, it will summon a secondary Tanuki. These bosses inflict significant AoE damage, necessitating swift elimination of the new Tanuki.
• Below 50 percent health, the boss will attack using its tail and conjure waves of earth-based damage.

Upgrading your Sacred Fan abilities early in the game is highly recommended for this encounter.

The general strategy to defeat the boss efficiently involves executing perfect dodges to slow time temporarily. During this period, your character becomes invincible, and landing charged attacks inflicts substantial stun damage (indicated by the white bar). Concentrating on stunning the boss significantly boosts the damage it sustains.

During the time-slow phase, you’ll accumulate a considerable amount of spirit bar (the yellow bar beneath your health), enabling you to activate Sacred Fan’s Divine Dance: Tengu Winds ability as soon as the boss is stunned and its HP bar turns red. This move typically reduces more than half of the boss’s health, allowing continued assault with charged attacks until the boss perishes.
