While attempting to create or edit an AVD from within Eclipse, you may encounter an issue where the "OK" button appears clickable but has no effect. This problem has been identified as a bug with ADT 22.6.0 and was addressed in subsequent builds.

Possible Workaround

If you are using ADT 22.6.0, you can try the following workaround:

  • Download and install the latest ADT v22.6.1.
  • Open "AVD manager.exe" directly from the Android SDK to create a new AVD.
  • Select Manage AVD... from the Eclipse Tools menu and open the AVD Manager from the SDK Manager.
