The Return to Verdansk event includes 13 unique challenges. One reward tier is unlocked automatically just by launching the game—granting three items—but only counts as completing one of the 13 objectives. The remaining 12 challenges involve locating and opening special safes hidden across 12 distinct locations in Verdansk. These safes appear at random spawn points each match. If a squad member opens a safe, every teammate present will receive the corresponding reward.

All 12 location-based rewards are cosmetic, including calling cards, emotes, stickers, and more—meaning players can tackle the safes in any order. Finishing all 13 challenges unlocks the exclusive Kali Sticks melee weapon in Warzone. Additionally, each time you open a safe, there's a chance to obtain the rare Trail Blazer operator skin for Caine. Even if you don’t get it during the initial run, you can keep opening safes after completing the event to improve your odds.

A concurrent double XP event is active across Black Ops 6 and Warzone, running alongside the Verdansk celebration.
