And it’s more than skin-deep: you get the same smart controls, including pinch and swipe gestures on the stem (yes, swiping up and down adjusts volume directly on the earbud).

Durability gets a boost too: the Buds 3 FE carry an IP54 rating, protecting against dust, sweat, and splashes — a solid feature for active users and a high bar for mid-tier earbuds.

Even better? These boast the longest battery life Samsung has ever offered in a Galaxy Buds model: up to 8.5 hours on a single charge (6 hours with ANC enabled), and up to 30 hours total with the charging case (24 hours with ANC on).

On the noise cancellation front, Samsung has upgraded performance using a six-microphone system. By relocating one mic in each earbud to the stem — closer to your mouth — voice capture during calls is clearer and more natural.

Internally, the Buds 3 FE stick with a single dynamic driver, but it’s slightly larger than before for richer, more immersive sound. They’re powered by Bluetooth 5.4 with Samsung’s SSC (Samsung Seamless Codec), along with AAC and SBC support for wide compatibility.
