Wuchang: Fallen Feathers stands out as a somewhat unconventional experience. While it follows a mostly linear path, it doesn’t adhere strictly to the classic definition of linearity. For one, over half of the bosses in Wuchang can be skipped entirely. This flexibility also means that many of the boss encounters can be approached in any order you prefer. That said, the main story bosses are generally meant to be faced in sequence—though even that rule comes with a few exceptions.
Some players have logically divided Wuchang into five distinct chapters. Interestingly, you can actually choose to tackle Chapter 3 (Mt. Zhenwu) before finishing Chapter 2 (Cloudspire). This means the sequence of even the primary bosses isn’t set in stone. If you're ever uncertain about which boss to pursue next, this guide serves as a helpful reference, outlining what is likely the most logical progression path.
Worship's Rise
The initial set of bosses is fairly simple and serves as a gentle introduction. The enemies in Worship's Rise are notably easier than those you'll face later in the game. Even if you deviate from the intended order, it shouldn’t cause significant issues.
Treat this early segment as a chance to master the deflect mechanic. Proficiency here will be crucial for surviving tougher battles ahead. Think of Commander Honglan as the capstone challenge of this section—a kind of final test to ensure you’re ready for what lies beyond.
Cloudspire
After defeating Commander Honglan, you gain the freedom to choose your next destination. First, you’ll need to open the gate on the left side of the courtyard—Nian Suichang is waiting nearby. Once you navigate through a cave and come across a group of desperate villagers, you’ll reach the Hillswatch Shrine. From there, ascending the stairs will lead you into the Cloudspire region.
Alternatively, if you're feeling particularly daring (or masochistic), you can take a different path from the Hillswatch Shrine that leads to several abandoned carts blocking the way. Destroying them opens a route straight to Mt. Zhenwu—where you’ll face significantly tougher enemies much earlier than intended.

General of the North - Ai Nengqi | Optional |
Ming General - Liu Cheng'en | Mandatory |
Mistress of the Night - Huang Yan | Mandatory |
Perfect Bride - Fang Ling | Mandatory |
Mt. Zhenwu
Taking on Mt. Zhenwu after completing Cloudspire puts you in a better position to handle its challenges. However, if you’ve ignored the recommended path and headed straight to Mt. Zhenwu via the cart barricade right after beating Commander Honglan, you’re in for a rough time—especially against the Bo Sorcerer.
Even with solid leveling, her massive health pool and relentless attacks can make this fight feel overwhelming. That said, since she’s an optional boss, you’re free to skip her—if you’re okay with missing out on related content later in the game.
Worship's Rise in Ruins
Once both Sovereign Zhang Xian and the Perfect Bride, Fang Ling, have been defeated, you can speak with the Storyteller. He’ll warn you that you’re approaching a point of no return. So, don’t select the “I press ever onward” option unless you’re confident you’ve wrapped up everything you wanted to do. Choosing to proceed will teleport you directly to the Annalum.

Monstrous Toddler - Bai Kru | Optional |
Nightmare Demon | Optional |
Vermilion Feathers - Honglan | Optional |
Bo Magus | Optional |
Dragon Emperor - Zhu Youjian | Mandatory |
Bo Capital
After unlocking the Bo Capital, you’ll face two optional bosses before the final confrontation. However, Zhao Yun and the Demon of Obsession can only be fought if you’ve completed The White Robed Elder's side quest. If you’ve neglected side content, your journey through the Bo Capital will be a direct path to the ultimate showdown with Feathery Ambition - Xuanyangzi.

As Hornet continues to explore Farom's intricate, maze-like tunnel in "The Hollow Knight: Song of Silk", the enemies she faces are not only far larger than herself, but also almost equal to her speed and agility. Most of the time, Hornet's only way to fight back against the enemy is by relying on the Needle that she trusts. The weapon wielded like a thin sword in a fencer's hand, ending battles after battle with its sharp tip. However, when facing the most powerful bosses in "Silk Song", participating in the battle with just a "needle" inevitably makes people feel like hitting a stone with an egg. To turn the situation slightly, Hornet can find various tools and buffs to upgrade her needle blade, thereby increasing its damage, attack range and attack

In the doomsday world occupied by the undead, "The Departed Light: The Wild Beast", resources are extremely scarce, and ammunition is even rare. If you prefer to use firearms rather than machetes, it is crucial to find a reliable source of ammunition – the key is to find the transport convoy left by the military. These military convoys are usually composed of one to three military trucks, with various types of ammunition, weapons and valuables randomly stored in the vehicles. The only challenge is: they are all closely guarded by a group of extremely dangerous infected people. Here are the location information of all teams in the game and what you need to prepare when you go to search. How to discover and unlock military convoys There are nine military convoys distributed on the map, mainly appearing on main roads, especially near bridges, tunnels and elevated sections. Four of them are
