Apple has released the second beta version of macOS Sonoma to users participating in its developer beta testing program.

macOS Sonoma, versioned as macOS 14, brings several new features to the Mac platform, including new screensavers, a revamped Lock Screen, the reintroduction of widgets to the Mac interface, enhanced Messages capabilities, Safari Profile support allowing separate profiles for work and personal use, FaceTime video messaging support, and numerous other updates and improvements.

Given the potential instability of beta software, this is best suited for experienced users and secondary devices. Casual users should wait for the public beta or the official release later this year.
