Romance in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous offers a total of seven romance options. Unlike in many other RPGs, these tend to be long and winding and can be quite difficult to pull off (as with Camellia), with a lot of correct dialogue options required.

Sosiel is one of the easier romances to pull off in the game, to the point you might have to practically fight him off to stop it. Still, there are some nuances and tricky parts that make it possible to fail. With that in mind, you'll want to carefully follow the steps to ensure everything goes as planned.

How To Romance Sosiel In Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous

Indulge His Hobbies And Show Your Support

As mentioned, it's pretty tough to not romance Sosiel (a major contrast with the Camellia romance), though he is gay, so a male main character is required. Apart from that, the basic idea is to indulge his painting and gambling, and be both supportive and affectionate. You may not want to be overly sexual, as he tends to be quite bashful about such things (though it won't cost you the romance if you do). Here is a summary of the dialogue options you should choose throughout the game to romance him:

• Ask about his painting near the beginning of the game (when the opportunity arises)
• Ask if he'll paint you and call it romantic
• When he's leaning over the body of a Hellknight woman, tell him you're glad he's alright and accept him into your party
• Hug him and be sexual with him, then read his letter and tell him he's safe
• When Sosiel is playing cards with a Crusader, tell him you're worried, and pry a little regarding his gambling. Be forgiving, then touch his cheek and say not to rush things
• Later he'll give you a flower. Tell him it's sweet and kiss him

• When you play cards with him, bet a kiss and let him win. Be affectionate but not overly so
• When he asks to paint you again, agree. When he offers his love, accept it
• When he explains his struggle to believe in beauty, be helpful and supportive
• Later he'll talk about how he was foolish when he confessed. Be supportive and affectionate, then pose for the portrait
• When you encounter his brother Trever, be supportive of Sosiel and say you love him. Agree with Trever on the path forward
• Soon, Sosiel will show you his painting of you. Tell him your love is the true masterpiece, then kiss him
• Eventually, he'll break up with you. If you tell him you'll never let him leave, he'll agree. Otherwise, you can set him free

Convincing Sosiel to stay with you will result in a tumultuous relationship with many more near-breakups (according to the in-game slide), but if you just love him that much, go for it. As in real life, not all romances in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous are the same, and this happens to be one of the tough ones.
