Metaphor: ReFantazio excels at delivering a wide variety of unique monsters to battle. While some enemy designs may be reused with visual tweaks, each foe typically brings a distinct set of abilities that set them apart in combat.

The Orgas follows the general design of other Orgos-type giants but is significantly more dangerous. Larger, more powerful, and far deadlier than standard giants, the Orgas presents a serious challenge. However, with the right strategy and knowledge of his abilities, you can defeat him and claim his horn as your prize.

Orgas Moveset

• Wild Cry: Lowers the entire party’s attack and defense stats.
• Soul Cry: Grants the Orgas two extra actions in a single turn.
• Heat Riser: Boosts the Orgas’ attack, defense, accuracy, and evasion.

Accepting the Quest

The battle with the Orgas is part of the Superior Scrimshaw side quest, available in the Port of Brilehaven on or after July 23. Head to the Merchants’ Bazaar, where you’ll find a Craftsman standing near Strohl, expressing concern over a missing horn. He’s seeking an Orgas horn to showcase his craftsmanship.

Accepting the quest is only the first step. You’ll then need to visit The Greatest Catch Tavern and speak with the Seasoned Man. He’ll provide intel on the Fiend of Forsaken Tower for a fee of 1,800 Reeve. Paying him unlocks the Forsaken Tower’s location on your map. From there, endure a three-day journey to the tower, scale it to the summit, and confront the Orgas.

Boss Fight

The Orgas is a formidable opponent due to his high offensive output and durability. He resists all physical damage types—Slash, Pierce, and Strike—but is notably weak to Dark-element attacks like Mudoon. Make sure to bring a Thief or Assassin class, along with a magic user who can exploit this weakness.

His Wild Cry ability severely hampers your team by reducing both attack and defense. Additionally, Soul Cry gives him two bonus actions, and Heat Riser enhances his own stats, making him even harder to take down.

To manage this threat, consider bringing a Knight. While their attacks won’t deal much damage, their primary role is to draw aggro away from your spellcasters. This is crucial when the Orgas uses Charge, often followed by Skull Cracker, which can obliterate a single target with massive blunt damage.

Alternatively, support classes that can buff your party or debuff the boss with skills like and can help balance the fight. However, controlling the Orgas’ focus tends to be more impactful in maintaining team survivability.
