There are numerous trials in Revenge Of The Savage Planet that you must overcome to advance your vendetta against your former employer. After being left behind and ultimately fired, your mission becomes clear: recover your gear scattered across multiple planets within your current star system.

Once your equipment is back in your possession, Slappi begins assigning challenges that let you make full use of your gadgets. These tasks vary from basic to advanced. Key Requirements Must Be Met

Slappi will present the Shock and Awe challenge during his second round of assignments, and it can be tackled either alone or with a partner. All of his challenges come in pairs, and both parts must be completed for the entire task to count as finished. Only after clearing the first pair of challenges will the Shock and Awe challenge become available. Upon completion, new upgrades unlock for purchase. It’s highly advised to invest in the upgrade that allows you to collect Ferrous Goo using the Water Hose.

Make the Most of Your Environment

This challenge requires you to electrocute and eliminate five enemies simultaneously. Though you don’t have a direct electrical weapon, there are environmental tools you can exploit. You’ll need Ferrous Goo and electrified mushrooms, meaning this method only works in specific zones on the map.

Just like in Journey to the Savage Planet, each region offers unique resources and wildlife. One ideal spot is near the high cliffs of the Zenethian Rift, just beneath the teleporter. This area is rich in electrified mushrooms, Ferrous Goo, and enemy activity—making it perfect for this task. Since Ferrous Goo slows down anything that steps in it, cover the battleground generously.

Gray goo is metallic and capable of conducting electricity.

While you can't guarantee five enemies will get stuck, spreading a thick layer improves your odds. You can lay down a substantial amount before it begins to vanish, but you may need to replenish your supply if it runs low. Once your goo trap is set, connect an electrified mushroom to it and watch as every enemy caught in the sludge gets zapped.

Alternatively, fast travel to the Pillars of Turpitude and position yourself on one of the large bone platforms. Drop bait on the ground below and wait for creatures to gather and feed. Then, provoke one of the Scorpion Puffers—also known as Electro-Scorpions. This region typically has plenty of Scorpion Puffers and Puffer Foxes, ideal for meeting the challenge requirements.

You might need several attempts, as synchronizing the shock kill on five enemies can be tricky. Fortunately, with a teleporter nearby, you can quickly return to your base and warp back after respawning. Enemies should reset, giving you another chance. Once this challenge and its paired task are complete, you’ll unlock the next tier of upgrades in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
