After the launch of the RX 9070 and 9070 XT earlier this year, AMD is now bringing its RDNA 4 architecture to the mainstream with the new RX 9060 XT. Like the RTX 5060 Ti, this graphics card comes in both 8GB and 16GB configurations, though today we’re focusing specifically on the 16GB model. Priced at £315 / $349 at MSRP, it stands out as the only current-generation GPU offering more than 12GB of VRAM under the £400 mark—and it's even more affordable than Nvidia’s 5060 Ti 8GB variant. Intrigued? Let’s dive in…
Similar to the RX 9070 and 9070 XT, there is no reference or MBA version of the RX 9060 XT 16GB. Instead, AMD provided us with the ASUS Prime model for review. While this model ships with a factory overclock, we adhere to a strict testing protocol: all GPUs are tested at reference clock speeds for our launch-day reviews. This ensures a fair, consistent “apples-to-apples” comparison across all hardware.
