Unlike regular Raid Battles, Max Battles have stricter rules: you can only use type-based moves determined by your Pokémon’s type, and each attack contributes to filling your Max Meter. When full, this meter unlocks powerful Max Moves, essential for overcoming higher-difficulty encounters.

After defeating the Dynamax Pokémon, you’ll get a guaranteed catch opportunity. Once caught, you can use that Pokémon in future Max Battles and Dynamax them at will.
