“Oh, we’d keep doing this as long as they let us, but we’ll have to see,” she said. “We’ll see how many more cases Turner can take on… The setup allows them to go to various national parks, move between them solving different cases. That was a big part of the appeal for us. If we got the chance to do it again, we’d love to explore a new park with a new mystery.”

This feels like a conversation we’ve had before—specifically with co-showrunner Mark L. Smith’s previous Netflix project, American Primeval, which performed well on the platform and sparked discussions about potentially expanding the so-called "limited" series. There was talk of a possible prequel back then, but nothing materialized. In this case, a second season of Untamed might be more plausible, though still unlikely. Of course, if the show continues to dominate the charts for a while, Netflix might eventually reconsider if they want to revisit the world and the characters.
