Neverness To Everness brings a lot of unique aspects to the gacha genre including a massive urban open-world and cars that you can drive. However, one of the most surprising reveals is the game's gacha system, which revolves around a tabletop board game that you can interact with whenever you pull.
While this system might share similar percentages with other games, there's so much more to it. Once you learn everything about it, you might just have the most fun pulling for your favorite character in NTE than in any other game.
All Gacha Currencies, ExplainedBefore getting into the main mechanics of the gacha system, it's important to understand every currency you'll deal with. There are a total of six different currencies you'll see in this system, and here's what they all mean:
Solid Dice |
This currency can be used to pull on the current limited banner in the game. Each Solid Dice equates to one pull. |
---|---|
Fabricated Dice |
Much like other gacha games, NTE also has a permanent standard banner featuring a bunch of characters, and this dice is used to pull there. |
Tri-Key |
Finally, this item can be used in the Arc Shop to get any of the S-class Arcs of your choice for your character. Each S-class arc costs 25 Tri-Keys. |
Annulith |
This is the premium currency in this game that you can acquire from everything. You can directly buy any of the above pulls with it, though they'll likely be used for Solid Dice in most cases. |
Warp Piece |
You can get this currency through the gacha system itself by getting duplicates or landing on the right tiles. These can be used to buy an unlimited number of pulls or a copy of any standard character that you want. |
Lost Piece |
This is another currency that you can get from the gacha, and you can buy various upgrade items with it. You can also buy a certain number of pulls every month with it. |
How The Gacha Board Works
If you want to summon on any banner in Neverness To Everness, you'll have to enter the board system called the Fair. In this, you'll see a bunch of tiles set in a loop, and this loop has two smaller loops extending out from it on the left and right sides. You can enter these side loops if you land on the tile with the arrow pointing to them.
Each tile on the board can bring you a different reward, and here's what they all do:
Tile Name |
Description |
---|---|
Journey Together |
Instantly provides the S-class character shown on the tile. If you're pulling on the standard banner, it gives you one of the random S-class units featured there. |
Apprentice Chest |
Has a very small chance (0.2%) of obtaining the featured S-class characters, and a large chance of getting a B-class Arc. |
Hero Chest |
Has a larger chance (3%) of obtaining an S-Class character, but you get a B-Class Arc otherwise. You also get two Warp Pieces from it. |
Roll Again |
You can get the number of pulls mentioned on the tile back immediately. |
Miracle Box |
Get a random A-Class Arc. |
Warp Chess Box |
Get the amount of Warp Pieces mentioned on the tile. |
Lost Chess Box |
Get the amount of Lost Pieces mentioned on the tile. |
Outside of these, certain tiles are also assigned as the Slumberland tiles. When you land on these, they spawn a guardian nine tiles ahead of you. If you catch up with this guardian in the next three turns, you can get 30 Warp Pieces. Otherwise, it disappears. Each time you pull, you can get a number between one and six.
Your character moves the respective number of tiles and gives you the rewards from the tiles it lands on. When you pull 70 times on a banner without getting an S-Class character, the board changes and adds a bunch more Journey Together tiles, increasing your chances of getting the S-Class character immediately.
The Gacha Chances, ExplainedWhile the gacha mechanic in Neverness To Everness is fun to play with, it is still a normal gacha system at its core. With each dice roll, you have a one percent chance to get the S-Class character on the normal board and a 19.5 percent chance on the Modified Board after 70 pulls without an S-Class character.
However, once you trigger an S-Class on the limited banner, it's guaranteed to be the featured character, and you won't be fighting a 50:50. You also have a guarantee of getting an A-Class item (character or Arc) every ten pulls.
