'Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion' Shows Off Its New Heavy Armor

To make things a bit more confusing, the smaller power armors we've already encountered in Titanic Scion are also referred to as Arsenals.
Putting that aside, the power armor featured in Titanic Scion is capable of entering the Heavy Armor and operating it much like a pilot. This setup bears resemblance to what was seen in the first Daemon X Machina, although the pilots of those Arsenals didn't technically wear power armor (and I'm not considering the upgraded armor for the pilot as power armor in this context).
It appears that these Heavy Armors can not only transform and fly around but also have limited usage, which reminds me of the thermal energy-powered Vital Suits from the original Lost Planet game on the Xbox 360.
In any case, this new Heavy Armor system completely flips the gameplay dynamics of Titanic Scion compared to its earlier form, which is quite intriguing—especially since there will be moments where you’ll face off against Heavy Armor while wearing your power armor, and vice versa.
Additionally, it seems that the basic abilities of the base character have been expanded upon, and they will play a significant role in gameplay.
Honestly, the more details emerge about Titanic Scion, the more excited I become about its direction. From what I’ve seen so far, it feels like a genuine evolution from the first Daemon X Machina, something that’s pretty rare in today's gaming landscape.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion will launch on September 5 for Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
