There are four different roles in Marvel Mystic Mayhem: Defender, Fighter, Striker, and Controller. We've ranked each hero based on their overall strength and usefulness.

These Heroes are the best of the best, being the strongest in their role. They are able to contribute the most to your team, and should be upgraded first, if you have them.

Thor	3-Star	Fighter	Very high AoE and auto attack damage thanks to chain lightning, and one of the highest damage attacks through his Ultimate.
Armor	2-Star	Defender	Provides strong shields and damage mitigation to herself, and can also taunt enemies to draw attacks away from teammates.
Juggernaut	3-Star	Defender	Decent damage mitigation and good damage, and his Cyttorak's Curse skill refills Ultimate Energy, allowing him to deal even more damage.
Doctor Strange	3-Star	Controller	Very strong healing output, and can buff and debuff as well.
Emma Frost	3-Star	Controller	Extremely versatile. Emma can heal, buff, debuff, and deal damage.
Iron Man	3-Star	Striker	High AoE damage, and can ignore a portion of the enemy's DEF with Blaster Array.
Scarlet Witch	3-Star	Striker	High single-target and AoE damage through critical hits.

A-Tier Heroes

Heroes in the A-Tier are strong overall and can perform well in a variety of content, but aren't quite as strong as those in S-Tier.

B-Tier Heroes

These Heroes are decent, but either require a bit more investment to get working, or aren't as strong as alternatives.

Moon Girl & Devil Dino	3-Star	Controller	Decent Hero, but does best running other summoner-focused Heroes like Thread and Man-Thing.

C-Tier Heroes

These Heroes are limited in the types of content they do well in, and are best for the early game or in niche situations.
