Curious about the traditional meat used in shawarma? Unsure what a 12-ounce serving at Starbucks is called? Don’t fret, because I’ve got additional hints and all the answers for today's NYT Mini crossword.
The NYT Mini is a fast and compact version of the newspaper's more elaborate and long-standing crossword puzzles. Usually, there are three to five clues across and down on a five-by-five grid, although the puzzle can be slightly larger from time to time, particularly on Saturdays.
Compared to its full-sized counterpart, the NYT Mini crossword is available for free on the New York Times website or through the NYT Games app. However, if you want to play older puzzles, you'll need an NYT Games subscription.
Below are extra hints and the official NYT Mini Crossword clues and answers for Tuesday, June 24:

I finished today's NYT Mini in 0:55.
Not too bad, even though I made some early errors. There was no trick to this one, which was straightforward. At first, I thought IDEAS was “chart” and DODGE meant “avoid.” I wasn't familiar with the other two Across words—Starbucks isn’t really my thing.
In contrast, the Down clues were simpler for me. But I did make a mistake by putting “bread” instead of BAGEL initially. My earlier mistakes also slowed me down, forcing me to delete and overwrite them awkwardly. Still, it was a decent time overall.
See you tomorrow for another round of NYT Mini!
