What is Connections Sports Edition?
Launched in collaboration with The Athletic, the New York Times' sports division, this new daily word game can be played online or via mobile apps. The objective is to categorize 16 words into four groups based on a common theme.

Every puzzle presents 16 words divided into four categories. These could range from movie titles to geographical locations. While several combinations may appear plausible, only one combination is correct.
Incorrect guesses count as mistakes, and players have up to four mistakes before the game concludes. Players can reorder the board to make connections clearer. Each category is color-coded from yellow (easiest) to purple (hardest). As with Wordle, you can share your progress on social media.
