Unlike other Two Point games, Two Point Museum does not have a built-in restart button for a single museum. Since all museums are interrelated, the game does not allow a full reset of a single location. However, if you want to start over, there are some workarounds.
Options to restart the museum
1. Use the Remove Button
- Go to the Foundation tab (where to place the walls and floors).
- Look for a small button on the side – it looks like a pocket watch or removes the ball.
- Clicking on it will remove everything in the museum and refund the money you have spent, basically letting you start over without resetting the entire archive.
2. Restart the archive file
- If you want to reset completely, you need to start a new save from the main menu.
- Since museums are interrelated, this is the only way to completely clear the progress and start over.
What happens when bankruptcy?
- If you spend all your money, the bank will take back one or two of your exhibits.
- You will get a cash injection, but you won't be able to make a loan unless you meet certain conditions.
- This gives you a chance to recover, rather than force a full restart.
While the lack of a dedicated restart button can be frustrating, the demolition option is the best way to refresh a museum without deleting the entire archive. If things get really bad, restarting the game is your only real choice.
