Monster Hunter Wilds revolutionizes the series with its innovative Pop-Up Camps, eliminating the need to constantly return to base camp between hunts. This guide details the 13 Pop-Up Camp locations in the expansive Windward Plains region.
Unlike previous titles, you can now explore freely, discover monsters organically, and rest at conveniently placed camps. But what are these Pop-Up Camps?
Understanding Pop-Up Camps
Pop-Up Camps function identically to your base camp tent, allowing you to manage quests, equipment, and supplies. The only difference? The absence of helpful NPCs like Gemma.
There are two ways to establish a Pop-Up Camp:
- Speak with the Felyne representative at any base camp and select a discovered location.
- Use a Pop-Up Camp Kit at a designated site, summoning Felynes to set up camp instantly.
Remember: If your camp slots are full, you must return to the base camp to reset them. Also, be aware that monsters can destroy your Pop-Up Camps, requiring either automatic repair or Guild Point expenditure for immediate restoration.
